WebReporter supports both IMS log and SICA PLUGIN10 log files. IMS creates a subdirectory under the operating system win32 directory called "EMWAC\Mail\InLog" and all log files are placed here. IMS creates multiple mail logs so you will need to specify the full path name to the logs followed by "\*.log" in the WebReporter log path settings.
The SICA Filter typically places logs in the same directory as it's program files. Reports from SICA filter logs will contain traffic and bandwidth information.

Both IMS and SICA filter log readers require the Site Domain (or Site URL) to be set in the site profile settings in order to determine the difference between incoming and outgoing mail.
The Microsoft IIS web server can generate log files in a number of formats. With later IIS versions it is recommended to use W3C format logs. This format allows the user to select which information is logged. Logging all information fields is recommended. This can be done from the properties dialog for your web site in the MMC snap-in by;
If all extended options are not selected some sub-reports may not be available. The "Extended Logging Properties" dialog will show you the directory the log file or files will be written into, typically "system32\LogFiles\W3SVC..", where the last part of the name corresponds to the site number used by IIS and a file name mask which depends on the log period. WebReporter will agregate multiple log files when generating its reports by specifying *.log as the last part of the log file name.
