For decades, law firms, courts, government departments, councils and corporations have been recording their conferences. But one problem remains to be solved, and that is the efficient transcription of those recordings. Even with the arrival of digital dictation, transcriptionists continue to experience the same problems:

 - No way of knowing who is speaking; and

 - Poor sound quality.

Of course, these problems flow on to the originator of the audio recording because they are constantly being interrupted to explain what was said and who said it. Even if these details can be remembered, it is a waste of valuable time to revisit meetings. And we all know that time is money.

Why not just produce an audio recorder that addresses these problems?
